I.   Surface Treatment Technology

Lipoamino acid (LP) Treatment
Lipoamino Acid is the collective term of a complex or compound that contains amino acid and lipid. Excellent dispersibility and spreadability, smooth feeling and non-powdery finish. These properties of LP are very suitable for powder / liquid foundations and eye shadows.


II   Composite Technology

We have various types of functional composites. These pigments impart improved texture, increased skin adhesion, and provide long-lasting and/or soft focus effects in various formulations

Excel Mica JP-2
New and improved soft-focus powder for make-up products. An aluminum hydroxide coating on mica effectively diffuses the optical characteristics of light for a natural finish and a soft-focus effect. A synthetic mica version for liquid foundations and skin-care applications is also available.

Powder Lavie
Free fatty acids, especially unsaturated fatty acids, tend to lower the melting point of sebum and thus affect the wear property of foundations. “Powder La Vie” possesses unique selective adsorption property of these fatty acids within the matrix of hydroxyapatite / zinc oxide on sericite. “Powder La Vie” also exhibits excellent deodorant effect against short-chain fatty acids.

SXI-5
Platy mica coated with sub-micron spherical silica and further surface treated by our patented dimethicone treatment. Extremely smooth texture.

SXI-9
Unique SXI technology is now available with highly effective sub-micron alumina beads. The alumina bead coating on mica provides better light diffusion while giving lubricious texture.

SXI-9S
The alumina bead coating on sericite version of SXI-9 mentioned above, which also provides better light diffusion while giving lubricious texture.



III.   Bulk Technology
Breakthrough MiBrid technology gets the best out of pigments and makes it easy to use in a variety of formulations

MiBrid Treated Powders/Dispersions
MiBrid is the combination of double surface treatment on inorganic pigments.  It can be easily dispersed without surfactant and maintains free-flowing properties at over 50% pigment contents in low viscosity oils.

MiBrid Sunscreens
Novel double-layered coatings on ultrafine TiO2 and ZnO dramatically improve the dispersion quality and flow properties of these powders. Over 50 % powder contents dispersed in cyclomethicone still results in free-flowing oil dispersions. Better dispersion quality also provides transparency and high SPF. A formulation with a 10 % level of TiO2 resulted in an SPF of over 30 (in vivo, 5 subject FDA screening method).
Also, oil dispersion of microfine TiO2 in isononyl isononaoate is available for non-silicone based formula.

for Colors
MiBrid Treatment on inorganic color pigments in Cyclopentasiloxane maximizes color strength. Color pigments conform to FDA and EU standards. MiBrid Color Dispersions also enhance the color development of pigments even at high powder concentration (65%-80%) in low-viscosity Silicone oil.

WHP-CL-1
Powder dispersion ready for use in two-phase powder lotions. Simple dilution with water and/or alcohol provides an excellent powder lotion! Contains ZnO for astringent / skin tightening effects

IV.   Others
SA-Luce Colors
Novel silica / dimethicone coated pigments for make-up products. Very transparent and ideal for pressed powder foundations and also two-way foundations.

SA-SB-300 (7%)
Dimethicone treated spherical silica for skin-care and sunscreen products. As little as 1 to 2 % into the oil phase improves the texture, drying time, and tackiness.

SI-T-CR-50-Z (80%) LHC
Extremely easy to disperse methicone treated titanium dioxide. Reduced course feeling and improved opacity. Ideal for liquid foundations and high-coverage two-way foundations.
