Miyoshi Kasei Group supports the new regulations on chemicals from the European Commission, the Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals (REACH) program and is committed to prepare for this regulation with our suppliers and customers to ensure continued supply of our products.

The aims of the proposed new Regulation are to improve the protection of human health and the environment while maintaining the competitiveness and enhancing the innovative capability of the EU chemicals industry. REACH would furthermore give greater responsibility to industry to manage the risks from chemicals and to provide safety information on the substances.
Some chemical substances pose significant environment or human health risks, even if the full extent of harm has not yet been definitively established, precautionary measures should be taken to avoid use of the substances. The Group believes that this precautionary approach is an essential element of an effective REACH.

Convinced of the need of such a regulation, Miyoshi Kasei Group is working alongside Miyoshi Europe S.A.S, U.S. Cosmetics Corporation and other bodies to guarantee the feasibility of implementing the REACH initiative.
